On Sunday, October 17, 2010 at a Joe Miller rally held at Central Middle School in Anchorage, Alaska, Joe Miller's private security guards detained and handcuffed the Alaska Dispatch founder and editor Tony Hopfinger. Police arrived shortly afterward and released Hopfinger. Joe Miller is the Teabagging Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.
On Monday, October 25, 2010 at a Rand Paul rally in Lexington, Kentucky Timothy Mark Profitt, the volunteer coordinator for Rand Paul's Republican U.S. Senate campaign in Bourbon County, stomped on Lauren Valle's head while she was held down by other Paul supporters.
