To The Last Bullet at Hodi's Half Note – A review by 3D's daughter
Review
The best lesser known metal bands out there: Project Independent Showcase (Sunday, 17-
The day of the concert came faster than expected, and after a long night of haunted houses with Keila I felt like I was scrambling to get ready. Our family friend Amy picked up Kyla first and then came down to my Mom's to get Keila and me. When we got to Hodi's Michael was standing outside selling tickets to make more money for TTLB. We bought one more for Kyla.
We turned in our tickets and headed straight for the stage. The first band that played was called Rome Incarnate. Its not that they were bad or anything, but they didn't have much of a stage presence, and hardly anyone moshed or moved at all. They tried, and that's all that counts. To The Last Bullet played next, and all I can say is it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Daniel the singer and Michael were amazing. He does similar things to what other metal singers do, but there is no comparison. His voice and stage presence is like no other. People couldn't get enough of what they were putting out. Dancing, moshing, screaming, head banging, and video taking were all going on. At one point Michael set down his bass and jumped into the crowd to start a mosh pit. Let me tell you it was one of the best pits I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. When they were done and starting to pack up almost everybody started to leave. That just tells you how AMAZING they were.
The bands that played after them were Silence Fades, Frozen Eternity, Awaken The Masses, Ashes of Ruin, Frost Thane, Walk The Dead, Last Word, The Metal Band CROW, Synapse Defect (Project Winner 2009). None of the other bands were all that great, and we spent most of our time on the balcony talking to everybody that was still there and just hanging out until Keila's Mom came and picked us up around six.

I had and amazing time hanging out and listening to music. I can't wait for the next TTLB concert. Also if you live in the Colorado Fort Collins Denver area you need to check TTLB out. They will rock your world.
