The Guardian reports that Iraqi insurgents fired rocket-propelled grenades at a plane carrying four U.S. Congressmen, who were flying out of Baghdad last Thursday night. The pilots successfully took evasive action, and the flight continued to its destination, Amman, Jordan.
"It was a scary moment," said Senator Mel Martinez (Republican, Florida) ... And I bet it was. The incident just doesn't sound like what you'd expect from a Surge that's working, does it?
